KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: Authorities have added the name of an expatriate to the wanted list following accusations of stealing women’s wedding gowns, engagement dresses, crystal sets, and accessories valued at more than KD 16,000.

The case was initiated by an investigator at the Maidan Hawalli  Police Station after a 40-year-old Kuwaiti citizen, filed a complaint. The complainant reported that an employee at her private shop had breached her trust, disappearing with the valuable items. Despite multiple attempts to contact the accused, the individual remains unreachable.

The theft reportedly involves a significant quantity of women’s formal attire and accessories, though it is unclear if the items were stolen in a single incident or over multiple occasions.

The complainant expressed concern that the accused might flee to his home country, taking the stolen goods with him. In response, a breach of trust case has been registered, and investigations are underway to locate and apprehend the suspect.
