KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: Authorities have placed a 57-year-old expatriate on the wanted list for allegedly embezzling 17,000 dinars from the company's headquarters. The suspect reportedly turned off her mobile phone and failed to disclose her place of residence, making it difficult for law enforcement to locate her.
According to a security source, the case was filed by the company's legal representative, who holds power of attorney on behalf of the company owner, a 54-year-old Kuwaiti citizen. The embezzlement was uncovered during the company's annual inventory process, which revealed a significant financial discrepancy linked to the accused employee. An investigation is underway to track down the suspect and recover the missing funds.
