KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: Investigations officers are actively searching for two unidentified thieves who stole 900 dinars from a 30-year-old expatriate. According to a security source, the expatriate reported that as he was leaving a local bank, he was approached by two individuals posing as detectives. They accused him of possessing money from drug sales and demanded he hand it over.
The expatriate tried to explain that he had no involvement with drugs, but the men insisted on taking him to the police station and demanded he hand over the money, instructing him to follow up at the station later.
When he refused, the suspects forcefully knocked him to the ground. The victim described the attackers as slim and dark-skinned. Authorities are now reviewing the bank's security footage to identify the suspects or their vehicle.
