KUWAIT CITY, Mar 10: An expatriate has admitted to withholding a motorcycle as part of a dispute over a financial demand from his employer. The incident came to light after the legal representative of a delivery company filed a report alleging a breach of trust involving a black 2023 Honda motorcycle. The complainant identified the accused as a 29-year-old expatriate.
According to a security source, the case was referred for investigation. The accused voluntarily appeared at the Hawalli Police Station’s investigation office, where he confessed to the allegations. When questioned about his refusal to return the motorcycle to the company, the expatriate explained that the company had demanded a sum of money from him, and he had withheld the motorcycle as leverage in the dispute. He also cited his need for transportation as a contributing factor.
The case highlights the complexities of employer-employee disputes and the legal ramifications of withholding company property. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
