Authorities probe vehicle fire incident on King Fahd Road

KUWAIT CITY, July 8: In Farwaniya, Kuwait, a tragic incident unfolded when an expatriate's apartment caught fire, leading to the death of five people due to suffocation caused by smoke that spread into neighboring apartments. The expatriate has been charged with manslaughter following investigations into the incident.

The victims, including a woman, her husband, their two sons, and a disabled child, tragically lost their lives after being overcome by smoke inside their apartment. They were later pronounced dead at Farwaniya Hospital. Notably, all the deceased resided in apartments adjacent to the expatriate's residence, where he and his family survived the fire.

A car erupted in flames on King Fahd Road.

Meanwhile, authorities from the General Fire Force have launched an investigation into a separate incident involving a vehicle fire on King Fahd Road. Initial speculation suggests the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit or issues related to the vehicle's cooling system.

Authorities are continuing to gather information and evidence to determine the exact circumstances surrounding both incidents.
