KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: A Kuwaiti citizen recently filed a complaint at a police station in the capital, alleging that he had fallen victim to a scam orchestrated by an expatriate. According to the complainant, the expatriate convinced him to invest 30,000 dinars in a supposed partnership to import food products. After handing over the money several months ago, the citizen discovered that the expatriate had fled the country, leaving him deceived and without recourse. A case has been registered, and the matter has been referred to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
