KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: Local authorities are investigating a robbery case after an expatriate filed a complaint at the Mahboula police station. According to the victim's statement, the incident occurred in an open space in the Mahboula area.
The expatriate reported that a four-wheel drive vehicle approached him while walking in the area. The driver, dressed in traditional arab attire, stopped and asked him to provide identification. As the expatriate reached for his wallet, the suspect grabbed it and fled the scene in the vehicle.
The wallet reportedly contained a sum of money along with official documents. A case has been registered, and the matter has been referred to the competent authorities for further investigation.
Police have urged residents to exercise caution and immediately report any suspicious activity. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
