Expat’s Camera Stolen in Bizarre Desert Heist

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 5: Under the directive of the Deputy Attorney General, a case has been registered as a felony under the title "Theft in an Unusual Manner," assigned case number 15/2025. According to the details, an expatriate born in 1988 and residing in Jleeb filed a report regarding the theft of a camera from his camp located in the Mutlaa area, approximately 15 kilometers into the desert. The complainant stated that the thief had cut through the camp's outer nylon fence, located about 3 kilometers away, and entered by crawling underneath it. The perpetrator then severed the iron wires securing the camera to an iron pole.

The complainant noted that the incident occurred around 5:30 in the morning but declined to accuse any specific individual of the theft. Following the report, the Deputy Attorney General was contacted and instructed that the case be registered under the aforementioned title. Additionally, forensic evidence collection was ordered to aid in the investigation.
