KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Informed sources revealed that government agencies have received approvals from the Civil Service Commission to seek the services of non-Kuwaiti employees, after they were suspended during the past years, with the exception of some specializations where citizens were not available to fill these vacant posts, reports Al-Qabas daily. The sources indicated the services of some non-Kuwaitis in government agencies, which were sent to the Civil Service Commission since last year, or during the past months, were finally approved, some of which are in specializations were national cadres are not available.
The sources pointed out that the CSC was rejecting any requests to seek the services of non-Kuwaitis, in the event that there were Kuwaitis with the same specialty registered for employment in the central employment system, as the CSC considered the request of seeking the services of non-Kuwaiti received from the government agency as a declaration of need for an employee in that entity. Thus, the system nominates a Kuwaiti employee to work in the entity, with the same specialty.
