KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: The Meteorology Department has forecasted that Kuwait will be affected by an extension of a low-pressure system, which is expected to gradually weaken by Thursday afternoon. This will be accompanied by humid and moderate air, along with moderate to active southeasterly winds and scattered light rain, occasionally turning thundery in some areas.

According to Dharar Al-Ali, Director of the Meteorology Department, cloud cover and rain chances will decrease as a high-pressure system advances. There is also a possibility of fog formation in the evening, with winds shifting northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.

Thursday: Maximum temperatures will range between 19°C and 21°C. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves reaching 2 to 6 feet.
Thursday Night: Cold conditions are expected, with light to moderate north-easterly to north-westerly winds at 8 to 30 km/h. There is a chance of fog in some areas, and temperatures will drop to 9°C to 11°C. The sea will remain light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 4 feet.

On Friday, the weather will be warm during the day, with light to moderate northwesterly winds, shifting variably at speeds between 8 and 30 km/h. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 23°C and 25°C, and the sea will remain light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 4 feet.


Friday night
will be cold, with light to moderate southeasterly winds at speeds of 8 to 30 km/h. Fog may form in some areas, and scattered clouds may appear. The minimum temperature will range between 9°C and 11°C, while the sea will have waves from 1 to 3 feet.

On Saturday, the weather will be warm and partly cloudy, with southeasterly winds shifting to northwesterly, light to moderate, sometimes active at 12 to 45 km/h, causing dust in open areas. The maximum temperature will be between 22°C and 24°C, and waves could rise from 2 to 6 feet.

By Saturday night, conditions will turn cool to cold, with southeasterly to northwesterly winds, light to moderate at 8 to 38 km/h, and scattered clouds. The minimum temperature will range from 10°C to 12°C, and the sea will have waves between 2 and 5 feet.
