KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Several months after the emergence of the Corona pandemic, face masks became a necessity in a bid to curb the spread of the virus, reports Al-Qabas daily. People were forced to wear face masks despite the negative effects at the beginning, but it later turned into an automatic behavior. When the pandemic started, people’s commitment to wearing masks for long periods of time caused major psychological changes, including fear and loss of the ability to communicate with others through facial expressions that are basic in communication. Initially, the association of the mask with the disease was shocking; then most people got used to it.

In spite of the importance of wearing a mask at present in light of another outbreak of the virus; it has turned into an annoying item for some, because it robbed them of the pleasure of analyzing facial features during meetings, discussions and exchange of opinions.
