KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Jahra detectives are on the hunt for an individual driving a blue four-wheel drive vehicle, accused of impersonating a police officer, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm. According to a security source, a delivery driver reported to the Sulaibiya police station that he was stopped by an unknown man in the Sulaibiya area who claimed to be a police officer. The suspect showed a civil ID, asked for the driver's identification and vehicle registration, then pulled out a firearm, pointed it at the driver’s head, and demanded money. The driver handed over 40 dinars, the only cash he had on him.
The expatriate provided authorities with a description of the suspect's vehicle, including the license plate number. However, a security source noted that the plate might have been stolen.
