KUWAIT CITY, April 21: Kuwait Municipality is ramping up efforts to ensure adherence to municipal regulations and systems across the country, guided by the directives of Director General Engineer Saud Al-Dabbous. In a bid to maintain order and uphold property laws, teams are conducting rigorous field inspections.
Fahd Al-Muwaizri, head of the Violations Removal Department at the Farwaniya Governorate Municipality Branch, provided insights into recent inspection activities. He disclosed that the department, under the direct supervision of branch director M. Mubarak Al-Ajmi, has been conducting extensive tours since the beginning of April until last Saturday.
During these tours, municipal inspectors identified 210 cases of encroachments on state property, particularly concerning the unauthorized use of parking lots and umbrellas for rental purposes within the Farwaniya Governorate. Prompt actions were taken against the violators, including the issuance of warnings and implementation of necessary measures to rectify the violations.
In addition to these efforts, the Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced the reinforcement of field visits by supervisory bodies across all municipal branches in various governorates. These visits are primarily focused on identifying encroachments on state property in investment and commercial areas.
By intensifying field inspections and enforcement measures, Kuwait Municipality aims to maintain order, protect public property, and ensure compliance with regulations to foster a safe and organized urban environment for residents and businesses alike.
