KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: The Press and Publication Affairs Prosecution, has remanded to police custody an unidentified Fashionista for 21 days, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Fashionista who is charged with violating public decency, breaching public morals and misusing the phone, has been detained at the Central Prison.

The Anti-Cyber Crime Department had initially summoned the suspect for interrogation following the publication of her ‘immoral’ picture on her Snapchat account.

Many Snapchat users had shown their resentment and anger following the publication of the picture and called on the authorities to take legal measures against those who violate public morals and decency in violation of the Arab and Islamic values and customs and traditions of the Muslim nation
