Fatal Car Chase Ends In Tragedy On Kabd Road

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 26: A traffic accident occurred between two cars in the Sabah Al-Nasser area. After the initial collision, the driver of one vehicle fled the scene, prompting the driver of the other car to follow him. The chase continued from Sabah Al-Nasser until they reached Kabd Road, and eventually, they returned to the same road. During the pursuit, the fleeing driver’s car swerved and overturned several times.

The car of the person being chased overturned, and the driver of the pursuing vehicle fled the scene. Passers-by informed the Ministry of Interior operations. When security and medical emergency personnel arrived and examined the individual, it was confirmed that he had died, and it was later revealed that he was a Kuwaiti citizen.” The body was removed following an investigation order, and detectives were able to identify and arrest the owner of the other vehicle, referring him for investigation.

The security source reported that during interrogation, the arrested man, a Kuwaiti citizen, confessed to the incident. He justified his actions by stating that he was chasing the driver to obtain his car’s license plate number. He has been detained on charges of manslaughter.
