KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: In a devastating incident on Thursday, a person lost their life due to a fire that erupted in an apartment building located in the Maidan Hawalli area.

The firefighting teams from Salmiya, Hawalli, and Al-Hilali Centers responded to the emergency, successfully gaining control over the fire that had broken out on the fifth floor. The coordinated efforts led to the safe evacuation of residents from the building, and the teams worked diligently to combat, control, and ultimately extinguish the flames.

Unfortunately, amidst the firefighting operations, one individual succumbed to the consequences of the fire. The site was promptly handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
