KUWAIT CITY, Feb 6: The Family Court (Appeals Division) has upheld the ruling of the Court of First Instance, revoking the mother’s custody of her four daughters and transferring custody to their father. The court ruled that the father would be responsible for their care and managing their affairs in a way that benefits them. The mother was ordered to hand over the daughters to the father and is prohibited from interfering in custody matters.
Additionally, the court ruled to drop the alimony payments owed to the mother and required her to pay the expenses and actual attorney fees. The case, filed by the husband through his lawyer, An’am Haider, was based on multiple concerns regarding the mother’s ability to raise the children and the trustworthiness required for custody.
