ABU DHABI, Nov 14: Fatima Hayat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Olympic Committee and the Advisory Committee for Women's Sports in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated in the third meeting of the Advisory Committee for Women's Sports of the Executive Office of the Presidents of the GCC Olympic Committees in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
During the meeting, the digital identity of Gulf female athletes was launched on the unified platform for Gulf women's sports. This initiative aims to showcase their achievements and enhance the digital environment that supports the comprehensive development of women's sports in the region. Additionally, the committee emphasized the continued success of the Gulf Women's Sports "Hackathon" program, which will now be held annually.
Fatima Hayat commended the collaborative spirit of the meeting and the commitment to advancing women's sports across the GCC countries. She highlighted the importance of organizing sports activities and tournaments in line with the approved plan of the Executive Office of the Gulf Olympic Committees.
Looking ahead, she noted that the next meeting will unveil the 2025 plan for women's sports activities and championships.
