KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: The Kuwait Touristic Enterprises Company has announced the completion of the feasibility study for the Al-Khiran Park project and the development of initial concepts. The company indicated that it is collaborating with government agencies to finalize the necessary legislation required to initiate the project.

In a press release, the company revealed that the park will cover an area of 800,000 square meters and will feature several components, including two hotels with a total capacity of 300 rooms and 200 chalets designed to meet the highest international standards. Additional features of the project will include a sports area, an entertainment zone, a water village, and a shopping complex located within the park.

The company also mentioned that it is currently in coordination with the Ministry of Finance to amend the State Property Law (No. 105 of 1980) to enable state-owned companies to sign profitable investment contracts. It expressed confidence in the cooperation of government agencies and relevant entities to address any obstacles that may impede the implementation of development projects outlined in its approved strategy.

Sheikh Mohammed Salman Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, stated that the intensive efforts of the Tourism Projects Company are focused on executing tourism and entertainment initiatives that will diversify income sources, create job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth, and contribute to building a prosperous national economy.
