Female Among Six Arrested in Kuwait Drug Crackdown

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: The General Department for Drug Control, affiliated with the Criminal Security Sector, has arrested six suspects in four separate cases involving the possession of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances intended for trafficking and personal use.

The Ministry of Interior said the arrests were made as part of ongoing security efforts to combat drug-related crimes and apprehend those involved in trafficking and consumption.

The operations resulted in the seizure of the following items:

410 grams of methamphetamine.
175 sheets of paper soaked in a chemical liquid.
60 grams of hashish.
KD 540 believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
One precision weighing scale.

The six suspects, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.
