KUWAIT CITY, Aug 1: Security sources have revealed that the State Security Department has arrested a female citizen journalist on charges related to national unity, which she broadcasted on her private satellite channel. According to the sources, the journalist is also facing charges of insulting security leaders in the Ministry of Interior, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The journalist has been referred to the Public Prosecution, which has decided to detain her in the State Security Agency building pending the completion of the investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are working to determine the full extent of the charges against her.
