KUWAIT CITY, April 7: The General Sports Authority has announced that the financial committee tasked with disbursing payments to the technical and administrative staff as well as employees of Al-Jahra Club and Al-Nasr Club, led by Faisal Al-Yateem, Deputy Director General of the Authority for the Finance and Administrative Sector, has initiated the process of transferring overdue salaries to players' bank accounts. Additionally, the committee has begun issuing checks for the professional players' outstanding dues.

Faisal Al-Yateem, also serving as Chairman of the Committee for Disbursing Dues to the Technical and Administrative Staff and Workers of Al-Jahra and Al-Nasr Clubs, confirmed that the committee has successfully deposited the delayed financial payments to the players following approval from the Committee Chairman and Vice President Bashar Abdullah, Deputy Director General of the Competitive Sports Sector.

Al-Yateem emphasized the Authority's commitment to promptly supporting all clubs and resolving their issues by directives from the Director General of the General Sports Authority, Yousef Al-Baidan, who has mobilized the Authority's resources as instructed by the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Daoud Marafi.

Acknowledging the efforts of committee members, Al-Yateem commended their dedication and efficiency in completing procedures within a short timeframe since the committee's formation. He also appreciated their commitment to fulfilling the promise of disbursing financial dues before the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
