KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9:  A fire incident in Salmiya led to five individuals suffering from burns and smoke inhalation. The prompt response of three fire brigades helped bring the situation under control swiftly.

Upon receiving a report of a fire in a Salmiya building, the firefighting units from Hawally, Salmiya, and Al-Hilali were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, it was determined that the fire had originated in an apartment on the sixth floor of a nine-story building.

The firefighting strategy involved the evacuation of residents from the building to ensure their safety. Subsequently, efforts were made to contain and extinguish the fire before it could spread to adjacent apartments. The firefighting operations adhered to established safety standards.

Regrettably, the fire resulted in five individuals sustaining minor burns and experiencing smoke inhalation. Additionally, there were material losses as a consequence of the incident.
