KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: A restaurant food delivery driver is currently in critical condition at Jahra Hospital’s intensive care unit after being shot in Subbiya by an unidentified attacker using a shotgun, reports Al-Rai daily. Security sources said the relevant authorities received a report from Al-Jahra Hospital regarding the critical condition of an Asian expatriate with gunshot wounds.
The sources further explained, “It was discovered that the injured individual is employed as a delivery driver for a restaurant in Al-Jahra Governorate. While en route to one of the camps, he was unexpectedly subjected to gunfire.” Detectives are actively investigating the incident to ascertain the identity of the shooter, determine the motives behind the crime, and obtain statements from the victim once his health condition allows.
