KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: The Ministerial Court has sentenced former Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled to seven years in prison and dismissed him from his position in connection with a Ministry of Defense case. An expatriate involved in the case was also sentenced to four years of imprisonment.
In a separate ruling, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled was handed an additional seven-year prison term and fined approximately 20 million Kuwaiti dinars for charges linked to a Ministry of Interior case. The verdict highlights the government's commitment to addressing corruption and holding officials accountable for their actions.
