Former MP Al-Muwaizri acquitted in biometric fingerprint false news case

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: The Criminal Court has acquitted former MP Shuaib Al-Muwaizri of charges related to spreading false news through tweets he posted about biometric fingerprints. In a separate case, the court sentenced a resident to three years in prison for insulting the Amir in posts on a social media network.
