Former MP and three others sentenced in vote-buying scandal

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: The Criminal Court sentenced former MP Majed Musaed and two other individuals to two years in prison with hard labor.

A fourth defendant was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 2,000 dinars in connection with the vote-buying case in the Fifth District.

The defendants had previously denied the charges brought against them in court.
