KUWAIT CITY, Jul 29: Four individuals of Asian nationality, including a taxi driver, have been arrested for smuggling female workers from their sponsors' homes. The General Department of Criminal Investigation, specifically the Criminal Investigation and Licensing Department, carried out the arrests. The suspects were allegedly involved in illegally re-employing the workers on an hourly basis, in violation of the law. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further legal action.
