DOHA, April 27: Kuwaiti champions clinched four gold medals, along with silver and bronze, after the Qatar International Open Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Doha, Qatar.
Issa Shamsah earned a gold medal in the 77 kg unified system (purple belt), as well as a bronze in the 85 kg unified system (brown belt) and another bronze in the 77 kg unified system. Fahad Al-Marzouqi secured a silver medal in the 85 kg unified system (brown belt) and also won a bronze in the 85 kg unified system.
Fawaz Al-Suwaidan took home a bronze medal in the 77 kg unified system (blue belt) and another bronze in the 77 kg unified system. Abdulaziz Al-Kuraibani triumphed with a gold medal in the 62 kg unified system (white belt).
Abdullah Al-Amiri claimed the gold medal in the unsuited system (blue belt) in the 62 kg category, while Mohammed Al-Saleh won gold in the unsuited system (white belt) in the 77 kg category.
