KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The Commercial Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has sealed four shops in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area for unlawfully installing ready-made kitchens, doors, windows, and stairs. The shops were sealed, and their owners have been referred to the Commercial Affairs Prosecution Office for further legal action.
The action was taken after the Ministry received numerous complaints about the businesses, which were found to be in violation of commercial regulations. In response to these complaints, the Commercial Control Department officials conducted a series of inspection tours. The inspections ultimately resulted in the closure of the shops and the referral of the violations to the Commercial Prosecution for further investigation and enforcement.
