KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: “Free food for all who cannot afford” – is a phrase written in front of a restaurant, as an initiative reflecting the humanitarian aspect of Kuwait.

The owners of the restaurant – a Kuwaiti citizen and an expatriate – decided to continue distributing meals for free to those in need, even after the lockdown ended and life returned to normal, reports Al-Qabas daily. The citizen and his partner had distributed meals for free to the needy during the COVID-19 crisis due to the total and partial lockdown imposed in the country. But because charity does not cease, and doing good is a virtue, the two have continued this initiative.

The restaurant not only exempts the needy from paying, but also delivers food to the homes of those who are unable to reach the restaurant for any given reason.
