KUWAIT CITY, March 7: The Ministry of Finance has expressed its commitment to the continuation of the Friday Market's operations and welcoming visitors at the earliest possible opportunity. The Ministry has stated that the contract with the investor for "investing and developing the Friday Market" ended on March 1, 2023. Currently, the Ministry is working towards promptly finalizing the necessary procedures for taking over and operating the site, as the market holds a special position among popular markets of its kind.
