KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The Public Utilities Company is undertaking extensive development work at the Friday Market in Al-Rai to enhance movement, shipping, and cleaning processes. The improvements include updates to signboards and kiosks, maintenance of the fountain and lighting, and upgrades to the exit gates to improve traffic flow. The project also emphasizes aesthetic enhancements and better site coordination.

A representative from the Public Utilities Management Company informed Al-Anba that these upgrades are being carried out without closing the market, in order to maintain visitor access and ensure ongoing trade.

The spokesperson emphasized the company’s commitment to providing maximum comfort for market visitors while they shop. Additionally, the company is evaluating several proposals to further enhance market operations and introduce new services for patrons, with plans to launch these improvements soon.
