LOS ANGELES, Oct 22, (Agencies): Griff is a relatively fresh face in the music industry, but she's been fortunate to have the support of some major star power. Over the past two years, this English singer-songwriter, whose full name is Sarah Faith Griffiths, has circled the globe, sharing stages with music icons such as Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay during their stadium and arena tours. Each of these megastars imparted distinct lessons to the 22-year-old Griffiths.

Griffiths readily acknowledges her privilege in being on tour with some of the current music industry's biggest names. Her journey included several months in the spring of 2022 as the opening act for Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia tour across Europe. During this experience, she gained valuable insights into Dua's strong work ethic and her kindness, which she found deeply inspiring. Griffiths admired how Dua Lipa's performance exemplified the pinnacle of a pop show.

In September and October of the previous year, Griff had the opportunity to tour with Ed Sheeran, who was promoting his + - = ÷ x (Mathematics) Tour. She recalls being struck by Sheeran's innovative stage presence, where he skillfully used a loop station to create his music. It was a different facet of pop, uniquely his own, that she found captivating.

However, the most significant support she received during her whirlwind world tour was from Chris Martin, the frontman of Coldplay. Griffiths gratefully mentions, "Chris Martin has been incredibly generous with his time and investment in my music." While on tour, he showed a genuine interest in her work. "He said, 'Let's listen to some of your songs.' I wasn't sure we'd find the time, but we did." The two ended up listening to approximately 30 unreleased songs, and the Grammy-winning songwriter took out a "pen and paper" to delve into the nuances of Griffiths' unique sound.
