Fugitive Alcohol Smuggler Briefly Evades Arrest at Kuwait Airport

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: A Kuwaiti citizen, wanted in connection with an alcohol smuggling case, briefly evaded authorities after arriving at Kuwait International Airport two days ago. Despite his arrival being flagged, the individual managed to exit the airport without being stopped or having his passport processed.

The oversight occurred due to a delay by two Interpol officials who were tasked with detaining the suspect. Upon discovering that the fugitive had left the airport unnoticed, detectives launched an immediate search operation. The fugitive was subsequently located and apprehended.

Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef has ordered a comprehensive report on the incident, vowing to implement both administrative and legal measures to hold the negligent parties accountable.
