KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: The General Fire Force, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, has announced a public lottery to select participants for firefighting courses. The lottery will take place on Saturday, November 18, at 9 a.m. in the gymnasium of Kazma Sports Club, Adailiya. The lottery is exclusively for firefighting course applicants, and it will also be broadcast live on the official public fire force Instagram account @KFF_KW for those who prefer not to attend in person.

The Public Relations and Media Department clarified that the lottery aims to choose students who meet the course application requirements and have successfully completed the admission tests for the specified courses, with a total of 1980 qualifying candidates.

According to the training plan in collaboration with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, the required numbers for each course in the upcoming training year are outlined as follows:

  1. Machinery Operator Sergeant: 125 positions and 25 reserves
  2. Special Tasks Machine Operator Sergeant: 100 positions and 25 reserves
  3. Combat Sergeant (First Category): 75 positions and 25 reserves
  4. Combat Sergeant (Second Category): 100 positions and 25 reserves

Immediate acceptance has been granted for the following specializations due to an insufficient number of applicants for each course:

  1. Sergeant - Prevention Inspector: 94 positions
  2. Public Relations, Media, and Photography Sergeant: 24 positions
  3. Security and Safety Sergeant: 43 positions

The department emphasized that passing the lottery test does not guarantee final acceptance unless the applicant successfully clears the subsequent medical examination.
