KUWAIT CITY, Jun 15:  Hawally Governor Ali Al-Asfar has emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards building violations, pledging to enforce the law against anyone exploiting illegal structures and to impose maximum penalties to ensure the safety and security of citizens and residents in the governorate. This announcement came during a tour of several illegal buildings, accompanied by security and municipal teams. Governor Al-Asfar highlighted the importance of addressing complaints from citizens and permanent residents, ensuring that violators are monitored through intensive field inspections.

Expressing gratitude to the employees of the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality for their effective role, Al-Asfar stressed the need to provide all necessary support to deter violators and protect lives. Key officials participating in the tour included Brigadier Hamad Al-Zuwair, Director of Operations and Patrols in Hawalli Governorate; Engineer Hamoud Al-Mutairi, Director of the Hawally Governorate Municipality Branch; and Engineer Nasser Al-Dhafiri, Director of Engineering Control in Hawally Governorate. During the tour, numerous violations were recorded and action was taken against several buildings found to be non-compliant.
