BAGHDAD, Sept 8: After establishing a strong presence in the local market and maintaining its reputation for experience and precision standards for seventeen years, Green Flame Gas Company has become a prominent name in gas extensions within Kuwait. In line with its expansion across the Gulf, the company has recently entered the Republic of Iraq, signing a contract to design and implement gas extensions for the "Yarmouk City" complex in Baghdad. This contract was signed in collaboration with Al-Qawaser Contracting Company Limited, one of the largest and most significant residential, commercial, and entertainment complexes in Iraq, as per Baghdad Investment Authority License No. 613/2022.

The contract signing ceremony between the two companies took place at the Green Flame Gas Company headquarters in Kuwait. Attending the event were the Chairman of Green Flame Gas Company’s Board of Directors, Eng. Bashar Hussein Al-Qattan, the Plenipotentiary Director of Al-Qawaser Contracting Company, Dr. Tahseen Ali Abdullah, and the General Manager of the Green Flame Gas Company Branch in Iraq, Dr. Amer Al-Yasiri. Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for this strategic collaboration between Kuwait and Iraq.

Eng. Bashar Hussein Al-Qattan, Chairman of the Green Flame Gas Company, took this opportunity to express his gratitude to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for Kuwait's forward-thinking government policies that attract foreign investment. He highlighted Kuwait's efforts to become a global commercial and financial hub, contributing to economic development. He also thanked His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah, for facilitating measures related to both local and international sectors, making the Kuwaiti market more accessible to investors by removing previous obstacles and easing visa procedures.

Dr. Tahseen Ali Abdullah, Managing Director of Al-Qawaser Contracting Company, expressed his pleasure in partnering with Green Flame Gas Company, citing the company’s proven track record in gas network extensions. He noted Green Flame's successful projects, including the gas network extensions for "The Avenues - Kuwait" and "Avenues - Bahrain," and its impressive work in Iraq, Jordan, and Bahrain. Green Flame has quickly become a leader in designing and implementing liquefied gas networks in the Gulf region, adhering to both local and international specifications and maintaining high standards in project delivery and maintenance.

Dr. Abdullah emphasized that Al-Qawaser Contracting Company is one of Iraq's leading firms in construction and contracting, playing a crucial role in finding innovative industrial solutions. He highlighted that the collaboration between Green Flame and Al-Qawaser represents a major success in executing the "Yarmouk City Residential Complex" project, which is one of Baghdad’s most significant residential, commercial, and recreational developments.

Eng. Al-Qattan further expressed pride in this collaboration with Al-Qawaser Contracting Company, recognizing its leadership in contracting and real estate investments. He pointed out that the gas network extensions for the Yarmouk City Residential Complex will serve over 1,229 residential units, including villas with Roman-inspired designs, model schools, shopping centers, sports clubs, green spaces, and more. This project marks an important addition to Green Flame Gas Company's growing portfolio in Iraq.
