Following the final, the winners were crowned by Handball Federation President Fouad Al-Balushi, Secretary-General Qaed Al-Adwani, and Treasurer Khaled Talib, alongside Kazma Club Treasurer Omar Al-Mulla and Kuwait Club members Deen Al-Deen and Balsam Al-Ayoub. The match showcased stellar performances, with goalkeepers Abdulaziz Al-Dhafiri (Kazma) and Hassan Safar (Kuwait Club) playing pivotal roles in pushing the game into extra time.
This marks Kazma’s second Super Cup title, following their victory in the 2022-2023 season. Kuwait Club has won three titles: 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2023-24.
Qaed Al-Adwani, Secretary-General of the Handball Federation, praised Kazma’s victory and congratulated the club's board, players, and staff. He highlighted the development of Kuwaiti handball, noting that teams like Kazma, Kuwait Club, Qadsia, and Al-Salmiya are all competing at a high level. "The upcoming matches in the Golden League will raise the standard of local championships," he said.
Omar Al-Mulla, Treasurer of Kazma Club and Head of the Handball Team, reflected on the challenges of the Super Cup final, noting that Kuwait had led by a considerable margin at one point. However, Kazma's resilience and determination proved their worth, showing they were capable of achieving the impossible. He attributed this success to the unwavering support of Kazma President Asaad Al-Banwan, a key supporter of Al-Safir Handball. Al-Mulla also mentioned that players would be rewarded for their efforts.
Kazma goalkeeper Abdulaziz Al-Dhafiri commended the strong performance from both teams, acknowledging the challenges faced during the match. "We controlled the game, especially in the second half," he said. "We deserved the title thanks to the dedication of the players, staff, and the support of the club."
Kazma President Asaad Al-Banwan congratulated the team, highlighting their hard work and dedication. "This title came after great effort," he said. "Congratulations to Al-Safir, and hard luck to Kuwait Club. We wish them the best in their future matches."
