KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: Gulf Bank proudly welcomed Mr. Islam Mohammad Khattab, the grand prize winner of the annual Al Danah Millionaire draw, who received an extraordinary KD 2 million prize. The highly anticipated draw took place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Al Khiran Mall, attracting a large audience of customers and visitors. The event was held under the supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Ernst & Young, and was broadcast live across Gulf Bank’s social media platforms and 360 FM radio.
Following the official deposit of KD 2 million into his account, the winner shared his immense joy and gratitude, describing the experience as life-changing. He expressed his appreciation to Gulf Bank Gulf Bank for continuously rewarding its customers and encouraging a culture of saving.
Mr. Khattab encouraged others to open an AlDanah Millionaire account, emphasizing that it had been his trusted savings partner for over five years, helping him navigate financial challenges. He shared that his win was met with overwhelming joy, not only in Kuwait but also back home in Egypt, where his family celebrated the exciting news. He expressed his intention to donate a portion of his prize to charitable causes, while carefully investing the remainder to secure his family’s future.
Acting General Manager of Consumer Banking at Gulf Bank, Mr. Bader Al-Ali, congratulated the winner on becoming the 23rd AlDanah Millionaire in the draw’s history. Gulf Bank continues to provide customers with numerous chances to win through the AlDanah draws. The next major draw will be the semi-annual AlDanah draw on July 17, 2025, with a grand prize of KD 1 million. Customers have until March 31, 2025, to deposit and qualify for this draw. Customers can qualify for the monthly, quarterly, and annual AlDanah draws by maintaining a minimum account balance of KD 200.
Mr. Al-Ali expressed his enthusiasm for continuing to reward customers through the AlDanah Millionaire account, encouraging them to keep saving and increase their chances of winning. He highlighted the program’s multiple prize opportunities, including the grand prize of KD 2 million—the largest cash prize tied to a bank account globally.
The semi-annual draw offers a KD 1 million prize, while the quarterly draws, held twice a year, award KD 100,000 to 100 winners in each draw. Additionally, the monthly draws award KD 1,000 to 10 winners each month. Throughout 2025, a total of 282 winners will be selected through the AlDanah draws.
The AlDanah Millionaire account is open to both Kuwaiti nationals and expatriates. Customers can easily open an account by visiting any Gulf Bank branch or using the Bank’s mobile app, with a minimum deposit of KD 200. Maintaining this balance ensures automatic entry into all upcoming draws. If the balance drops below KD 200, a monthly fee of KD 2 will be applied until the minimum requirement is met.
