KUWAIT CITY, Feb 02: As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, Gulf Bank organized a training session titled "A Day at Sadeer Farms", in collaboration with sustainable agriculture experts Alzainah Al-Babtain, Dana Al-Mutawa, and Sherifa Al-Sabah, aimed to educate participants on sustainable farming practices, and provide them with the practical skills to adopt eco-friendly agricultural methods that promote environmental health and enhance quality of life.

Thirty participants, with a keen interest in agriculture and sustainability, were selected for the workshop through a social media competition on Gulf Bank’s platforms, which garnered enthusiastic participation from followers.

The event is part of Gulf Bank’s wider initiative to promote environmental conservation and the significance of sustainable farming. It emphasized agriculture's vital role in creating a healthier, more sustainable environment – not only in food production but also in addressing climate change and enhancing overall ecosystem health.

Hosted at Sadeer Farms, the Training session offered hands-on sessions led by experts in agricultural food and cosmetic practices. Participants had the opportunity to explore techniques like modern irrigation, eco-friendly soil enhancement, and the use of renewable energy in farming. The program also included discussions on the role of agriculture in improving air and water quality, combating climate change, and ensuring food security.

Gulf Bank highlighted that environmental sustainability is a key pillar of its corporate strategy. Initiatives such as this workshop demonstrate the Bank's dedication to sustainable development and its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) , especially in areas like biodiversity conservation and environmental protection.

The Bank invites individuals who are passionate about sustainable agriculture and environmental protection to take part in similar initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to building a community that is both environmentally conscious and resilient, ready to tackle future challenges.
