KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28 (KUNA): Minister of Information and Culture, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Championship (Gulf Zain 26), Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, emphasized that the exceptional organization and widespread public success of the championship were not just a triumph in sports but a message of strength, unity, and a vibrant representation of the Gulf region’s unity. "The future is Gulf," he stated.

Al-Mutairi made these remarks during a ceremony honoring the partners of success and the committees involved in organizing the championship, which took place in Kuwait from December 21, 2024, to January 4, 2025. He described the celebration of the organizing committees, volunteers, and workers as a moment where pride meets gratitude, acknowledging their contribution to a success that extends beyond sports.

He added that the championship, held under the high patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with the generous support of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the diligent follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, reflected the wise leadership’s belief that true achievement comes from the country's citizens, whose resilient spirit and determination drive success.

Al-Mutairi stressed that the honorees were the driving force behind this achievement, as they played a pivotal role in raising Kuwait’s name on the global stage. They demonstrated that Kuwait’s youth are both the backbone of the nation’s present and the hope for its future. He further noted that the championship’s organizational success showcased the capabilities of Kuwaiti youth to shape both the present and future, drawing on the country's rich history in sports. Their efforts and creativity wrote a new chapter of excellence that presented Kuwait to the world in a glowing light, powered by the spirit of its people.

In his address to the organizers and young volunteers, Al-Mutairi said, "Your success today has brought smiles to everyone’s faces, showing what we can achieve when goals are unified and efforts are integrated."
