Health Ministry promotes energy efficiency: Lights off after work directive.

KUWAIT CITY, June 20: The Ministry of Health has issued a directive urging its leaders to ensure that all employees turn off lights and electrical switches in all rooms and offices within their respective sectors and departments after the end of the workday. This initiative aims to bolster environmental sustainability efforts and conserve energy resources, aligning with the directives of Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi and previous circulars emphasizing the rationalization of electricity consumption.

Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Tasha, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Services Affairs, issued a circular to assistant undersecretaries and department directors emphasizing the importance of alerting employees to adhere to this practice. This circular underscores the Ministry’s commitment to energy conservation and highlights the societal responsibility shared by all individuals to contribute to such efforts.

The Ministry’s initiative builds upon previous circulars issued with the same objective of promoting energy efficiency and responsible consumption. Collaboration and cooperation from all employees are essential to achieving these goals and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship within the Ministry and beyond.
