Health Ministry updates smart fingerprint program for better work schedule management
Health Ministry rolls out an update to the smart fingerprint program for enhanced shift management.

KUWAIT CITY, April 5: The Ministry of Health has rolled out a new update for the "smart fingerprint" feature in its employee shift work program. This update is part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to enhance work systems and optimize schedule management.

The Ministry has urged all employees to log into the program to complete the required update. Upon logging in, a new menu will appear, allowing users to select their work schedule based on their specific work location.

As per the updated instructions, employees are required to choose the appropriate classification based on their role:

Nursing staff working in hospitals should select “hospitals.”

Employees in public administration should choose “administrations.”

Primary care workers should opt for “primary care centers.”

This update is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of data and maintaining a smooth workflow across various locations.

Meanwhile, Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi has launched a survey aimed at understanding the daily challenges faced by ministry employees and exploring potential areas for improvement through modern digital solutions.

In his message to the Ministry’s employees, Minister Al-Awadhi emphasized the importance of their participation in the survey, highlighting that it is essential for the success of this initiative. He explained that the survey will provide a clear understanding of the current situation and enable decision-makers to take practical steps based on the actual needs of the employees. This, in turn, will help create a more efficient work environment and ultimately improve the quality of healthcare services provided to both citizens and residents.

Minister Al-Awadhi encouraged all employees to actively participate in the survey and to share it with officials and executive employees across different sectors. He stressed that the feedback and insights collected will serve as the foundation for future development and improvement efforts within the Ministry.
