Kuwait Ministry of Interior warns of increased traffic fines and new arrest powers starting April 22.
KUWAIT CITY, April 17: In a move to ensure broad public awareness of recent amendments to the Traffic Law, Kuwait’s General Department of Public Relations and Security Media has launched a multilingual information campaign targeting both citizens and expatriates.
As part of the initiative, the Ministry is providing vital traffic regulation updates in six key languages: English, Persian, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu (referred to in the original as Pakistani), and Filipino. The effort is aimed at delivering clear, accessible information to diverse communities across the country.
The campaign seeks to enhance public understanding of traffic rules, legal obligations, and recent legislative changes. By increasing legal and traffic awareness, the initiative supports the Ministry of Interior’s broader objective of improving road safety and reducing traffic violations and accidents.
