KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Al- Daihani considers the high number of Jordanians working in Kuwait – approximately 62,000 – a confirmation of the depth and strength of relations between the two countries; affirming the political leaders of both countries are focusing on this relationship, reports Al-Jarida daily. Al-Daihani made the statement to KUNA on the sidelines of his recent meeting with members of a health sector committee who traveled to Jordan to recruit 270 nurses for the Ministry of Health. He stressed that those chosen by the committee will be a new addition to the Jordanian workforce in Kuwait.

On the other hand, Director of the Nursing Services Department at the Ministry of Health and chairperson of the committee Dr Eman Al-Awadi disclosed the interviews conducted by the committee for the second day in a row confirm the existence of schools, educational outputs and nursing competencies with good and diversified levels in Jordan. Al-Awadi stressed the importance of the applicants’ work experience in choosing those who will cover the ministry’s need for nurses whose qualifications are verified through interviews and written exams.
