Kuwait weekend weather brings warm days and refreshing nights
Kuwait Meteorological Department forecasts a warm weekend.

KUWAIT CITY, March 27:  The Meteorological Department (MD) has forecast that the weather this weekend will be generally hot during the day and moderate to cool at night.

The Director of the Meteorological Department, Dharar Al-Ali, informed KUNA that the country is currently under the influence of an extension of a surface high-pressure system, which is leading to stable weather conditions with some scattered clouds and variable winds. These winds will range from light to moderate southeasterly, with speeds between 6 and 26 kilometers per hour.

Al-Ali explained that on Thursday, the weather will be relatively hot with variable winds, ranging from light to moderate southeasterly at speeds between 6 and 26 kilometers per hour. Some scattered clouds are expected. The maximum temperature will be between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging from 1 to 3 feet.

He further mentioned that the weather tonight will be moderate to cool, with southeasterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 6 to 26 kilometers per hour. Some high clouds will appear, and the expected minimum temperatures will be between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius. The sea will remain light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 3 feet.

Al-Ali added that on Friday, the weather will be hot and partly cloudy, with variable winds ranging from light to moderate, between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperatures will be between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 4 feet.

He noted that the weather on Friday night will be moderate to cool and cloudy, with southeasterly winds, light to moderate in speed, between 12 and 35 kilometers per hour. The minimum temperatures are expected to be between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius, with the sea remaining light to moderate and waves between 2 and 4 feet.

On Saturday, the weather will be warm and partly cloudy, with southeasterly winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 10 to 38 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperatures will be between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging from 2 to 5 feet.

Saturday night’s weather will be moderate to cool and partly cloudy to cloudy, with light to moderate southeasterly winds, which may occasionally become active along coastal areas, ranging between 12 and 40 kilometers per hour. The minimum temperatures will be between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the sea will remain light to moderate, with waves occasionally rising between 2 and 6 feet.
