KUWAIT CITY, March 24: The International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) launched its fifth charity exhibition on Sunday, organized by its volunteer team "Tarahum." The event aims to alleviate the burdens of poor and needy families in the country ahead of the approaching Eid al-Fitr.
The exhibition is designed to localize charitable efforts, ensuring that humanitarian aid reaches those in need. It emphasizes the importance of Kuwaiti volunteers and the generosity of the country’s benefactors, fostering an atmosphere of compassion and humanity during the holy month, a time when tolerance and mercy are abundant across society.
Held at the IICO branch in the Al-Faihaa area, the three-day exhibition is focused on providing essential supplies to low-income families, including food, clothing, and shoes. Additionally, gifts and toys will be distributed to children, and a hairdressing and beauty salon will be available to bring joy to the hearts of the children from these families. The exhibition serves as an expression of solidarity and care, aiming to spread happiness and support to those in need during this special time of year.
