KUWAIT CITY, April 20: Nawaf Al-Kandari, Deputy Director General of Kuwait Municipality for Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorates, confirmed that the municipality's field teams are continuing to intensify inspection campaigns to address violations related to bachelor housing in private residential areas, as part of efforts to curb this growing issue. He stated that recent inspections led to the disconnection of electricity in six violating homes in the Rabiya and Firdous areas, and the issuance of 14 eviction notices to other residences found to be unlawfully occupied by bachelors, in violation of municipal laws and regulations. Al-Kandari emphasized that these actions are part of the municipality’s commitment to preserving the residential nature of these neighborhoods and ensuring a safe, family-friendly environment. He stressed that inspection tours will continue, and legal measures will be taken against all violators.
