KUWAIT CITY, March 25: An Indian was arrested at T5 Airport in possession of marijuana and psychotropic substances. The Director of the Airports Department, Mr. Osama Al-Shami, reported that the man, an expatriate of Asian nationality, had 88 bags of narcotic cannabis hidden in his personal bag of clothes. He was referred to the authorities for further action.
In addition, another person was caught with a small piece of hashish and a number of psychotropic pills at T1 Airport during a precautionary search as part of joint cooperation. The items were found in the person's bags, and he was also referred to the authorities for further action.
